I used to be able to express my opinion. I could say how I felt about an issue and there would be a discussion or a disagreement, but my opinion was respected.
These days, everyone is just waiting to be offended.
Why is that?
We don't seem able anymore to accept other peoples' belief or opinions that diverge from our own with out attacking the person.
If a person believes in abortion, they are labeled "baby killers". If a person believes abortion is wrong, they are labeled "Right wing Radicals".
How did we get to this place? I thought we had freedom of speech, maybe that's not "really" true anymore.
